In his position, Thomas oversees the Middle Office activities in charge of analyzing and monitoring SOCAR Trading market risks for LNG and Nat Gas businesses.

Thomas holds a master’s degree specialized in Finance from the University of Lyon in France.

Before joining SOCAR, Thomas was Head Middle Office at Oryx Energies for 4 years and Co-Head Middle Office Europe at Mercuria Trading in Geneva, for 7 years.

Thomas began his professional career with Société Générale Corporate & Investment Banking as Business Analyst from 2005 to 2008 in the Fixed Income Department.
